The little garden of Amlan
Amlan lives in the quatier of Yopougon Ananeraie with his father still absent and his mother who runs a restaurant in front of the aison. Aware of her mother’s difficulties in finding food on the market, Amlan decides to grow supplies herself by setting up a vegetable garden at the back of her house.
Through this initiative, she seeks to contribute to the ammelliation of the family situation while learning the basics of plant cultivation.
AMLAN
Amlan is a six-year-old, slim and medium-sized girl with black skin who lives with her parents in a modest home. Although she is pampered by her mother, she feels the frequent absence of her father. This situation has developed in her an early maturity and independence. Amlan is a child awake, always curious about the world around her. Her passion and courage inspire her to explore, ask questions, and face challenges with a determination that is rare for her age.
